Thermoplastics used in Injection Moulding:
Polyamide PA6 – used in products exposed to heavy external forces and high temperatures. Suited for continuous work. Used for manufacturing of working components.
Polyamide PA66 – high-toughness material, with high chemical and temperature resistance. It can contain glass fibre addition. Used for detail production. Used for detail features manufacturing.
Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene ABS – is made up of three monomers(terpolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene). Each of the monomers has specific properties, that make ABS a universal moulding material. Good resistance to low and high temperatures. Rigid and bouncy. Often used for everyday use items.
Polyacetal(POM) – universal material for injection moulding.
Polycarbonate PC – engeneering thermoplastic of high transparency and excellent toughness. Typical applications include transparent items.
Polycarbonate PC/ ABS – thermoplastic used in electronic field. Used for parts exposed to high temperatures. High mechanical damage resistance.
PSU plastics (Polysulfones) – used as electrical insulator. High thermal resistance and radiation stability.Mainly used for electronic and electrical components.
Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) – Radiation resistant material. Excellent resistance to hydrolysis. Suited to applications in the medical industry.
